Improving the Quality of Your Building Designs

Foundation Design

A foundation is the structural base for a building and provides support for the rest of the building. Each foundation design is site-specific and is based on your architectural and site grading plans. To complete a foundation design, it involves extensive study of the ground below the foundation and the design and materials proposed for the structure itself.

Foundation Review

Our foundation review services focus on assessing the foundation plan and details shown in your architectural plans and the site grading plans. These factors determine if the foundation system meets the specifications outlined by the International Residential Code (IRC). Any areas or details that are found to fall outside of the limitations of the IRC will be designed per the requirements of the International Building Code (IBC).

Retaining Wall Design

Many factors can affect the overall design of a retaining wall. This includes existing slops, change of grade from the top to bottom of the wall, surcharges from driveways, adjacent foundation systems, and more. We ideally design retaining walls based on the information from your site or landscaping plan. This provides us with pertinent information regarding the location of the wall and proposed grade elevations.



Framing Design

Efficient framing design services not only provide your home or building with the appropriate support, it creates less waste and can save you money. We provided engineered framing designs based on your project’s architectural plans.

Framing Review

We can identify any potential framing issues, improper load paths, and other areas that may require additional engineering design through our framing review services. We will review your architectural plans and engineered lumber and truss designs provided by your lumber supplier and determine if the proposed framing system falls within the limitations of the International Residential Code (IRC).
